Sakes alive… how did it get to be the end of October already?
For today's Pink Saturday share, I'm showing off my newly acquired vintage pink high chair. And not just any old pink highchair, as you can see it is a DOLL-E hichair {notice the unique spelling!} It was my favorite find a couple weeks ago when we were up taking in the fall glory of the mountains.
Sorry for the splashes…but I thought an outdoor shot provided the best light. But what I didn't count on was someone, who wears a white fur coat, and carries tennis balls around all the live-long-day would keep messing with my business.
Since she's wearing a smidgen of pink, and technically she was my helper of sorts in securing the photos for today's post {that is, until I moved the efforts indoors out of her reach}, I guess I can give her a few seconds in the spotlight.
I wanted to put a dolly in the chair anyway…
…and maybe a couple on the tray as well.
I found these little bisque dollies at an antique store in Kentucky this past Mother's Day. When I first discovered them locked away in a case, my pulse quickened. I've been wanting a pair of them for the longest time but the few times I've seen them on Ebay or elsewhere, the price was beyond what I was willing to spend.
For more pink sweetness, head over to Beverly's at How Sweet the Sound for a complete listing of today's participants.
I've had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful ladies through Pink Saturday and before I go, I'd like to introduce you to Sheila at The Quintessential Magpie. She's a terrific writer, with a great sense of humor and shares lots of photos. Don't miss her exceptional post on another use for burlap.

love that chair! My Thumbelina would feel right at home there! Cute dollies too!
Happy Halloween and Happy Pink Saturday!

Searching for a Starry Night, A Miniature Art Mystey – bff’s, a missing mini painting and a nosy Dachshund = a fun kid’s mystery!
Ok, I would love that chair for dollies. I know I would love to give it to my grand daughter. I am so happy you found it and brought it home. They just don’t make them like that anymore. Sometimes I get so tired of all the plastic that is out there, none of it compares to your wonderful find. The dolls are just as great, thankyou for a lovely post, Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Halloween too, Char
Hey Sue, The highchair is a beauty. Wish you lived close enough for me to give you a little doll e ironing board in aqua. It would be perfect with the chair and is soooooooo old probably would not stand up to shipping. Happy PS. Mollye
Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Halloween!

Hello, HPS (I’m participating vicariously) and happy Halloween. Lovely Post! My favorite holiday is today because it involves costumes and fantasy. And candy of course, but I’m not indulging in that this year. I am at the store, dressed up as a witch and looking very scary I’m sure.
Have a great day! xJ

I can’t believe it! I had that very same high chair for that exact doll. I was allowed to play dolls in a trailer. What a time I had in there. Lucky you to have such a wonderful doll collection. Happy Halloween!

Oh that is a lovely pink highchair! When my granddaughter gets bigger, I think I’d love one just like that to hold her baby doll at Grammies house! Happy PS! Suzie
Happy Pink Saturday, Sue. Thank you for introducing everyone to Sheila. She is an amazing blogger!
I love your “new” high chair. I have my doll crib by the same company in my garage.
And, I adore your babies.
Good Morning Sue, and Happy Pink Saturay on Sunday…
What a DARLING post! I love that high chair and those cute dolls. And you really captured their personalities in these shots. Those little shoe button eyes peeking out of the blue and pink blankies… no wonder you had to have them! Just adorable.
And of course that Lab is just the cutest, too! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Lab without the requisite tennis ball. Love it!
Thank you so much for your sweet compliment. I really appreciate it. And I look forward to visiting you again. I wasn’t able to blog on Pink Saturday as we had unexpected company, but I will be back on the train next weekend. I am going to link to your blog then.
XO,
Sheila
P.S. Glad you caught the punch line on that joke. A couple of my friends were in a hurry and didn’t realize it was a joke. LOL! That makes it even funnier to me.

Aaaawww the dolly is perfect for the chair. But my fave are those babies wrapped in blue and pink! Cute cute as ever
